It is a Pump which is designed to operate in submerged condition and is used in water bodies like openwells, rivers, ponds & lakes
The Pumpsets creates a vacuum which sucks the water and lifts it to the ground.
As it is submerged in water, it does not have any suction limit and can supply water continuously till water level completely drops down to pumpset level.

What is a Centrifugal Monoblock Pumpset & How does it work?
As the name suggests, a Centrifugal Monoblock Pump is water Pump which converts Mechanical Centrifugal force or rotational force in a spinning impeller to Hydraulic force or Pressure force of the water, in order to lift water to a greater height.
The Pumpset creates a vacuum which can suck water from a maximum suction limit of 20 ft and depending on water level at which the pumpset is installed accordingly.
It consists of a Pump part and Electric Motor part. Electric Motor is the driver part while the Pump is the driven part.
The Electric Motor and the Pump is connected together via a common shaft which transfers the power from the Electric motor to the Pump respectively.
Since the set of Motor and Pump coupled together resemble as if they are single part or block, it is called a Monoblock Pumpset.

What is a Self Priming Monoblock Pump & How does it work?
These are monoblock pumpsets with self priming characteristics which are generally used in homes for lifting water from underground sump to Over head Tank.
The main feature of the pumpset is that it does not require priming each time when it is started. Due to its design, a self priming pump creates a vacuum space which sucks both air and water from the bottom. The air is vented out continuously till the water level reaches the pumpset.
Compared to standard centrifugal Pumps, these pumps can operate without manual assistance and do not require a foot valve.

What is a Jet Pumpsets & How does it work?
Jet Pumpset works on the idea of supplying pressurized jet of water to suck the surrounding water and lift it to the surface level from deep wells.
The working of a jet pumps depends on two main components a nozzle and a venturi.
The jet nozzle receives pressurized water from the pump, as the water passes through the jet nozzle, the speed of the water increases while the pressure decreases. (Similar to closing the opening of garden hose creates squirting action).
The fast moving water jet along with the low pressure generated is what created suction around the nozzle. The surrounding water is sucked in and carried along with the fast moving water jet.

What is a Compressor Pumpsets & How does it work?
Compressor pumps are pumps which utilizes air to push water from the borewell to the surface.
The Compressor Pump consists of the pump connected to a air hose which goes down to the bottom connecting to a air distributor. The air distributor is connected to a perforated delivery pipe which allows water to come in.
It works on the idea that when compressed air pumped into the bore and distributed into the perforated delivery pipe, the very fine air bubbles mix with the water thus lowering their density and lifting the air water mixture through the delivery pipe to the surface.

What is a Domestic Booster System & How does it work?
Booster Pump systems are designed to improve the water pressure in your piping system.
They are suitable to homes and offices where the water pressure is low or where the pressure of the water is dependent on gravity.
Booster pump systems come with a pressure tank. The pressure tank consists of a diaphragm enclosed within air pressurized tank.
When pumpset is turned on, the diaphragm expands within the same tank, since air is compressible, the volume occupied by air decreases while the pressure increases.
The amount of pressure to be imparted is controlled using a pressure switch.
The pressure switch has two scales on it â Range and Difference. Range refers to maximu pressure and is used to set the cut out pressure (pressure at which pumpset is turned off). Difference refers to level of p[ressure drop and is used to set the cut in pressure (pressure at which pumpset is turned on). Eg. If range is 3 bar and difference is 1 bar. The cut off pressure is 3 bar and the cut in pressure is 2 bar. (i.e Range = cut out pressure and Range-Difference =cut in pressure)
When the water pressure in the pipe line comes down blow the cut-in pressure, the pumpset will switch on and when pressure increases to cut-out pressure, the pumpset will switch off.
